Chop squash and onion in desired size pieces. If using legs, pre boil for about 20-30 before placing in oven.

1 - Whole Onion (Med-Lg)
Desired spices to taste

Add chicken to large oven safe pan. Add desired spices. Top with onion and butternut squash. Bake at 350 for about 45min or until internal temp of chicken reaches 165 degrees.
Spices that match nicely with the butternut squash are salt, pepper, garlic, and herbs like rosemary, thyme, and oregano.
